A weekly three-hour atelier to explore drawing and painting from observation, in a studious yet welcoming atmosphere.

Each week, students work from carefully arranged subjects :

  • plaster casts and sculptural objects,
  • still lifes, vases, and floral compositions,
  • drapery and objects lit with raking light to reveal the full subtlety of forms.

Participants are free to choose the technique that suits their interests and progress :

  • drawing : charcoal, red chalk, or graphite to explore values, volumes, light, and shadow;
  • painting : oil studies of texture and surface, with attention to reflections and tonal transitions.

The teaching is both rigorous and approachable: each student advances at their own pace with individual guidance. Beginners as well as more experienced artists will find an environment that is demanding yet encouraging.

  • Saturday (every other week)
  • 10 students maximum
  • All levels

Twice a month on Saturdays, the studio opens its doors for an intensive six-hour session with a nude model (male or female).

Each participant chooses their medium: charcoal, sanguine, graphite, oil, or others. Everyone is free to focus either on the entire figure or on a specific part (face, torso, hands…).

The same pose is held throughout the day, allowing for deep and detailed work. Guidance is offered individually during the session, while leaving each artist the freedom to immerse themselves fully in their practice.

This demanding format is ideal for progressing in proportions, structure, textures, skin tones, reflections, and the subtleties of light. Both beginners and advanced artists will find a focused and inspiring environment.

Stage intensif de dessin et peinture réalistes

The studio provides the model, the space, and basic equipment (easels, drawing boards, stools, lighting). A materials list is sent upon registration, depending on the chosen medium.

✨ Occasional special sessions dedicated to quick sketches will also be offered, to explore gesture and anatomy in motion.

A rare and privileged moment to immerse yourself in the practice of drawing or painting from life, in the heart of Paris.

Intensive Workshops
Weekends & Holidays

In addition to weekly classes, the atelier offers intensive workshops: true artistic immersions in the heart of Paris, designed to help you progress quickly in a focused and inspiring atmosphere.

  • One weekend per month : 2 days dedicated to a specific theme, perfect for deepening your skills and discovering new methods.
  • One week per month : 5 consecutive days for total immersion and accelerated learning.

Each workshop is built around a specific theme, with a common medium shared by all participants (charcoal, oil, graphite, etc.). The approach is collective, but every student receives attentive individual guidance, transforming challenges into real strengths.

Most workshops are led by a different invited artist, chosen for their expertise in the theme at hand (portrait, color, life drawing, etc.). Teachers change regularly, offering students a variety of perspectives, techniques, and experiences. This rotation makes it possible to learn from passionate specialists and discover complementary approaches, while maintaining a sense of continuity thanks to the atelier’s spirit and personalized support.
