Do I need to be experienced to join the classes?
No, our courses are open to everyone – from complete beginners to advanced artists. Each student progresses at their own pace with individual guidance.

Do I need to have taken art classes before?
Not at all. Many students start with us. The atelier offers a gradual approach rooted in academic drawing and realistic painting techniques.
Are the intensive workshops only for advanced students?
No. Some workshops are open to all levels, while others require a basic technical foundation. The required level is always specified in the workshop description.
Are the classes bilingual?
Yes, the atelier is fully bilingual French–English. Teaching can be delivered in either language as needed.
How many students are there per class?
Places are limited in order to ensure individual attention. Generally, there are between 8 and 12 participants per session.
Formats, schedule and discovery
What are the class times?
The schedule includes weekly evening classes, life drawing sessions twice a month on Saturdays, and intensive workshops lasting from two to five days. The detailed calendar is updated regularly on the Classes and Workshops page.
Can I choose the technique I want to work on?
- For the weekly evening classes, each student is free to choose between drawing or painting and may bring their own personal projects.
- For intensive workshops, the technique is defined by the theme of the workshop (e.g., charcoal, oil, color, etc.).
Can I try a session before committing?
Yes, certainly. Single-session bookings allow you to try a class before committing to a pass or a full term.
Do you offer workshops with guest artists?
Yes. The atelier regularly welcomes French and international guest artists, each bringing their own theme or specific approach.
Can I visit the atelier before enrolling?
Yes, by appointment. You are welcome to come and see the space, meet the team, and discuss the available courses.
Do you host events or exhibitions?
Yes, occasionally. Group exhibitions, talks, and themed evenings will be announced on the Events page.
Is it possible to hire the atelier for a project or a film shoot?
Yes, subject to availability. Simply contact us directly through the Contact page.
Materials and Location
What materials should I bring?
Students bring their own basic materials (charcoal, brushes, paints, sketchbook, etc.). A detailed list is provided upon registration, depending on the course or workshop. Easels, drawing boards and some shared supplies (kitchen roll, basic gesso, etc.) are available at the studio.
Can I buy art materials at the atelier?
Yes. A small stock of essential supplies is available in case of need (paper, brushes, paint tubes, and so on).
Where is the studio located?
In the very heart of Paris (exact address given upon registration). The space is warm and atmospheric, with old parquet floors, easels, plaster casts and the authentic feel of a working artist’s studio.
Are materials included in the price of the workshops?
It depends on the theme and the instructor. Full details are provided in the description of each workshop.
Bookings, Prices and Conditions
How do I register?
Registration is completed online through the booking platform on the website. A confirmation email is sent once your place is secured.
Are there reduced rates if I join several classes?
Yes. Multi-session cards and term packages offer more advantageous pricing.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, especially for multi-day intensive workshops. Instalment plans can be arranged upon request.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit or debit card, bank transfer, and cash for single sessions paid on site. Online payments are secure.
Are classes refundable if I can no longer attend?
